What are the 3 things that you want to learn/gain during your Internship at Fyreflyz?
Nobu:
- Find my strong suit. I’m looking to figure out what I’m best at by jumping into a variety of tasks. Whether it’s tackling problems, organizing projects, or honing my technical skills, I want to see where I really shine and how I can bring the most value to the team.
- Gain better communication skills. I’m focused on improving how I communicate, both when I’m talking and writing. By being more involved in team meetings, working closely with others, and practicing how I explain things, I hope to become more confident and clear in getting my ideas across.
- Improve my technical skills. I plan to dive deeper into hands-on work with different tools and technologies used in the industry. Putting what I know into action will help me grow my technical abilities and build up my confidence in real-world situations.
Zekai:
- During my internship at Fyreflyz. I want to become more fluent and confident in my communication, ensuring that I can express my ideas clearly and effectively. At first, I was scared when communicating and often spoke hesitantly, frequently using filler words like ‘and’ and ‘like.’ I aim to overcome this and improve my communication skills significantly.”
- During my internship at Fyreflyz. I aim to identify my area of interest by exploring different fields during this internship. This experience will help me understand where my strengths and passions lie.
- I want to be more proactive by taking on additional responsibilities and actively contributing to the team. This will help me grow both personally and professionally.
Sanjay:
- The confidence to be proud of my work and abilities. One of the key things I hope to gain during this internship is the confidence to stand behind my work and feel proud of what I accomplish. I want to develop the skills and mindset that will allow me to trust my abilities, whether it’s presenting ideas, contributing to projects, or taking on new challenges. Building that self-assurance is important to me as I continue to grow professionally.
- Connections with everyone in the team and forge unbreakable bonds with each other. I’m really looking forward to creating strong connections with my teammates during this internship. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of any successful experience, and I hope to forge friendships and bonds that last beyond just the time we spend together here. A great team makes work more enjoyable, and I want to be part of that dynamic, supportive environment.
- Where all the good food spots are of course, discovering all the best food spots around the area is high on my list too! Getting to know the local eats is a fun way to make lunch breaks more exciting, and it also gives me a chance to explore the area. Good food can definitely be a morale booster during busy days!
If you could be in any movie, what would it be and what character would you play? Why?
Nobu:
If I could be in any movie and a character from that movie, I would be Hiccup from How to train your dragon. A big part of the movie’s dialogue focuses on their Viking identity. Hiccup finds himself when he stops trying to be what others expect him to be and embraces his true nature. For so long, he felt lost because he thought being strong meant following the same path as everyone else. What I admire the most is that the key message is about embracing your individuality. Like Hiccup, you may have faced pressure to conform to others’ expectations, whether it’s family, society, or even your own self doubt. But your strength lies in what makes you different. Whether it’s your unique skills, perspective, or the way you approach challenges, finding yourself isn’t about fitting into someone else’s mold.
Zekai:
If I could be in any movie, I would choose Tom and Jerry, and I would play Tom. Despite being playful and facing countless failures and troubles, Tom never gives up. He stays persistent, constantly working hard to turn things around and achieve his goal of catching Jerry and making his owner proud. Tom’s resilience is something I truly admire, and that’s why I would love to play his character.
Sanjay:
If I could be in any movie, my choice would be Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE – Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot, and I would like to play as Bedivere, I have high respect for Bedivere because of his iron will and perseverance to atone for his sins, it took him days, months, years (1500 years to be exact), to finally reach his goal which was to return the sword of the lake, Excalibur back to his King. I found this movie very touching and tragic at the same time, the actual reason why I want to become Bedivere is because I find him so cool, being able to stand against all odds, overcoming difficult adversities throughout his 1500 year journey in search of his King to atone for his sins is just something that I find just way too cool and respectable.
