Meet the new interns of
#HumansofFyreflyz

We prepared a few questions about them to find out how they are adapting here at Fyreflyz! Let’s see what they say!

Tell us a little about yourself in three words.

Daniel:

  • Creative, bold, curious—

Phoebe:

  • Creative: I enjoy exploring new ideas and thinking outside the box
  • Driven: I always strive to give my best, take initiative, and continuously improve through every opportunity and challenge.
  • Genuine: I value staying true to myself and being authentic in everything I do. I believe in building meaningful relationships, treating others with kindness and respect, and living by strong values that guide how I work and interact with people.

What are the top three things you're looking forward to during your internship?

Daniel:

  1. Attending team and client meetings
  2. Learning how to effectively market a product
  3. How to understand your audience through branding

Phoebe:

  1. Working on more creative content and bringing my ideas to life.
  2. Learning from the team and gaining real-world marketing experience.
  3. Challenging myself to step out of my comfort zone and grow both personally and professionally.

If you could master one skill by the end of your internship, what would it be?

Daniel:

  • How to apply effective marketing strategies to advertising a product(s)

Phoebe:

  • I’d love to become more confident in both the creative and analytical side of marketing. I sometimes overthink my ideas, so I hope to trust my instincts more while also getting better at analysing data, understanding what works and why, and thinking more quickly on the spot. Ultimately, I want to create content that’s not only creative, but also something people genuinely enjoy and engage with.

What's one fun fact about yourself that people might not know?

Daniel:

  • I went skydiving!

Phoebe:

  • I’m pretty good at drawing…

What message or piece of advice would you like to leave for your future self?

Daniel:

  • Don’t sweat the small stuff—because it’s all small stuff

Phoebe:

  • Stop doubting yourself so much. You’ve made it through every challenge you’ve faced so far, and you’ll figure the next one out too. Trust yourself a little more.
